# Ingredienti:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 450g thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
05 - 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
06 - 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
07 - 6 slices white American cheese
08 - 600g frozen waffle cut fries

# Istruzioni:

01 - Preheat the oven to 220°C to prepare for final baking.
02 - Heat an oven-safe skillet until very hot, then add olive oil. Add sliced steak in a single layer, season with garlic salt and pepper, and sear for 3 minutes, stirring once to ensure browning. Remove while still slightly pink.
03 - Retain 1 tablespoon of pan juices. Add bell pepper and onion, and cook for 5 minutes until onions are translucent and peppers slightly crisp.
04 - Remove skillet from heat. Spread waffle fries evenly in skillet. Layer 4 cheese slices over fries, then half of steak and vegetables. Repeat with remaining steak and vegetables. Top with remaining cheese.
05 - Place skillet in preheated oven and bake for 8–10 minutes, until cheese is fully melted and golden spots form.

# Note utili:

01 - Partially freeze steak for 30 minutes before slicing to achieve thin, tender slices that cook evenly.
02 - Waffle fries hold up better under toppings due to their sturdy shape and ridges.
03 - This dish can be assembled ahead through the sauté step and finished in the oven when ready to serve.
